Finally, my picky eater is eating a nutitious bowl of soup, vegies and oh so healthy. So happy. Victory!

For Cinco De Mayo this year, I was trying to find a recipe that I would love to make for my husbands family. I found this recipe and made it with my husband. Everyone loved it and there were plenty of left overs! I am wanting to make it again because it was just so good and hearty!

This is a very simple recipe to make and it tastes just like the restaurant version. We lived in San Diego for over 12 years and had all of our family celebrations at El Torrito, having the soup 100's of times; I can vouch that this recipe is tastes the same. By the way, my family swears it cures the common cold!
