5 out of 5Best salmon ever!!!March 27, 2012

My family and I love this recipe! This recipe rates as high as the cedar plank salmon that we get at the Season's 52 restaurant! I'm not much of a seafood person, (especially when it tastes too 'fishy') but this recipe is seasoned so beautifully with so many different herbs that you don't have that 'fishy' taste. I even forgot to use the mayo or butter and it was still fantastic! I also put the zest from my limes on it, for the extra flavor.

This recipe is outstanding. The spices are right on the mark. I didn't have lemon pepper so I used the Schillings Seafood seasoning instead. What fantastic flavor. I did remove the skin from bottom of the salmon. Not only does it make it easier to eat, I think it takes away some of the fishy taste. I just pulled it off like a band-aid. I plan to try this recipe on some chicken. I might omit the dill when I do, but I bet it would work well on a chicken breast. Do not hesitate to try this recipe. You won't be disappointed. I plan on making a jar of the seasoning just to have it on hand.

This is by far not only the tastiest, but also the easiest fish recipe I have ever tried!!! I used it with Steelhead trout and I baked it instead of grilling. DELICIOUS!!!! Kids and husband loved it!
5 out of 5Really Tasty Salmon RecipeMarch 01, 2010

This is a GREAT recipe! Really flavorful and the whole family loved it. I changed a couple of things (used white wine worstershire instead of white wine; Smart Balance spray instead of mayonaise or butter; sea salt instead of kosher salt). It was incredibly juicy and flavorful. My husband added a touch of Bernaise sauce (cause he adds sauce to everything) but the rest of us ate it as is and it was awesome!

The recipe was easy. I used salmon from Costco. I already had all of the ingredients. I used butter (margarine) instead of mayonaise. I also omitted the dill weed. Amazing fish!

This recipe is excellent! I used all the spices as stated in the recipe. I did use the mayonnaise made with olive oil and added an additional tsp. of regular olive oil to the mayo. I grilled it about 15 minutes and it was perfect! I will make this recipe often as we eat salmon at least once a week.

Just made the herb grilled salmon this evening. I didn't have lemon pepper, lime or dried dill, so I used lemon juice and it still was a hit!! My husband is the type to put tarter sauce on without even trying it first, but he didn't even ask for it. Tomorrow I will purchase the ingredients that I did not have n hand!!

I had all the ingredients at home and it only took a few minutes to throw it all together. I mixed mayo and butter together. The salmon was moist and kept the mild salmon flavour. This is now on the weekly menu.

We're big salmon eaters and I got so tired of the typical lemon seasoning variations. I found this recipe and LOVE it! I make it often, and will usually make this when we have company. It's a sure fire hit!

I have tried this recipe twice now, and my husband and I both loved it. We are not big fish eaters, but gave this a try, anyway. I doubled the condiments and put them in an empty condiment bottle, ready for the next time. Didn't have the white wine, and baked it in the convection oven.
