i am so glad that i found this recipe, i have been looking for a grenadine syrup that doesn't have any high fructose corn syrup in it, and decided it didn't exist and that i would have to make my own. it was very easy to do, i didn't have cheesecloth so i used a fine mesh metal strainer and pushed a spoon on the seeds to get all the juice out. i used organic cane sugar and no dyes, the color is beautiful on its own. i did a taste test with a mixed drink and the homemade is far superior to the name brand one i have.

I did not know any thing about pomegranates untill I read your article, whitch was very helpfull, I got 8 pomegranate I did not want them to go to wast, I made the grenadine, then I made a punch with 7up and vanilla ice cream my family and grand kids realy enjoy it , I am going to make for christmas.
