    Thank you for the reviews, I toasted my sesame seeds the same way and added water gradually. I doubled everything to make more. I also left out the sesame oil because it tasted perfect to me without it.

    My first time making and using it and thanks to the other two reviews I did the watering carefully and ended up with a paste. I roasted the sesame seeds first--just a 5minute stint in the 350F oven and I used olive oil because I didn't have sesame oil in the house. Hubby said it was really good in the hummas I made.

    This recipe makes soup, not paste. Start with 1/16 cup of water and add if you need more.
