I've made this recipe twice now and the fudge is soooo good. The texture is so smooth, its like a very rich ice cream. It simply melts in your mouth. I'm sticking with this recipe....don't need to look for another one!!!

This is my all-time favorite fudge recipe. Having made it countless times, I will once again be making it to give out over the holidays. To add a little kick, I like to finely chop up jalapenos and add them in. Most who try this love this addition..... Don't saute the peppers, as that takes some of the flavor out....

This fudge is an excellent base. I also used white chocolate chips and added crushed oreos. I also used peanuts and small marshmellows in the bottom of the pan then poured the chocolate mix over them, creating a rocky road fudge. The combinations are endless!!

I made the receipe for a ""cousins get-together"". I have a very large (over 300) family. It was a SMASH! I made copies for everyone and some made this for Christmas gifts. I made several batches to bring to co-workers and used white chocolate, dark chocolate, butterscotch, and crunchy peanut butter. Each was better than the first. It started at Christmas and I am still making it for co-workers. Everyone likes the fact that you do not have to know how to bake. PERFECT every time.

I made this fudge and it seemed ot be missing something. So, I played with your recipe. In a pan... 4 cups sugar 2 sticks butter 1 (12 oz) can of Carnation Evaporated Milk Bring to hard boil and boil exactly 6 minutes Turn off heat and add... 1 (12 oz) pkg. choc. chips 40 Lg. Marshamellows 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 cup peanuit butter, optional Stir well and put in 10x14 pan and refrigerate. They eat it faster than I can make it I can never make enough They say it is addictive. Not sure why as it is basically the same but it is different. And, they love it.

5 out of 5Deceptively simpleJanuary 19, 2009

This recipe is deceptively simple and very tasty. The company made a ""kit"" with all the ingredients boxed up this last Christmas, which is the first time I tried it. It was excellent, so I Google'd it and found the recipe so I don't have to wait for the kit. Try it, it is so very easy and folks won't know. I won't tell them. Pretend you worked really, really hard.

I am a professional chef and have been using this recipe for better half of 8 year. Every one I have made this recipe for can not believe how good and simple it is. I recommend this recipe for anyone who loves to make or eat fudge.
