Beer BratsFebruary 04, 2011 By vfmic
I made these and they came out great. These will be made for this coming Superbowl Sunday. After the cooking is done, I will cut Brats in bite size pieces and use toothpicks and/or cocktail forks for picks.

Sauce from Leftover JuicesFebruary 03, 2011 By Zhizara
This is delicious. I saved the leftover liquid and made a sauce from it. Out of this world good!

Melt in Your MouthJanuary 29, 2011 By mgray5308
Great dish for a Saturday night. Instead of beer, I used Gosling's Ginger Beer and added green & red peppers with the onions. Put all of this on a bun. Uhhh good. Will definately eat this again. May try it for the Super Bowl party.

Beer BratsJanuary 21, 2011 By Vaus
It was simple and so easy. I will make it tomorrow. This time, I will also do sauerkraut and quartered potatoes. That will go very nicely with it.

This turned out excellent!! My husband is not a fan of Bratwurst, and was reluctant to try this. But, he ended up eating 3 brats!! We are so making this again!

Very simple recipeJune 10, 2010 By Robertjm1
I had some brats lurking in the fridge and came online looking for a quick recipe. Found this one through Google and it's pretty simple!! Added extra onions and more beer, so it took a lot longer to cook down. Finally, I got tired of waiting and removed all the onions and brats and then added some corn starch to cold water and stirred that into the broth. Turned the temp up high and cooked for another five minutes. Made a really nice and thick gravy!! Only thing I have to ask is WHERE IS THE MINCED GARLIC or peppers?? :-)

Incredible!March 06, 2010 By sheraT
I did vary the recipe somewhat as I had been marinating the brats in beer since the day before. All I did was save the beer from the marinade and add that when the recipe calls for adding beer. Other than that, I followed the recipe and it was great! My husband usually eats these grilled with sauerkraut and he's asked if I can always cook them like this. This is from a guy who tries not to eat any red meat but makes an exception once a month or so for Bratwurst so that's a huge compliment. Thanks very much! Sheila

Look I made Dinner!March 02, 2008 By Happy_Tummy
One of my roommates and I just finished eating this 10 minutes ago. I cut the brats in half so they would brown quicker. Was very easy and delicious! Thanks.

Awesome brats!February 18, 2008 By pineapple_queen
I followed the recipe, but did add a little more beer. I just cooked it longer for it to reduce down- around 20 minutes or so. The flavor of the brats and onions was great! Everyone loved it! I will definitely cook again and have already passed out the recipe! This was very simple- and I made with mashed potatoes and baked beans.
