Raisins, maple syrup, and apple juice flavor candied sweet potatoes made in the crockpot. This is a great recipe for holidays because the crockpot frees up your oven for other dishes.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 8 hours

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/4 cup apple juice
  • 1 Tablespoon butter
  • 4 small sweet potatoes, peeled
  • 1/2 cup raisins

Preparation:

Use a 3-1/2- to 4-quart slow cooker.

Mix the maple syrup and apple juice in an electric slow cooker. Add the butter, sweet potatoes, and raisins. Cover and cook on LOW until the potatoes are tender, 8 to 10 hours. Serve with the syrup from the cooker and raisins spooned over the potatoes.

Yield: 4 servings
