Valentine's Day Foods of Love Trivia

Tradition has it that the way to a man's heart is through his stomach, but the power of foods of love applies equally to women. Many foods have been attributed with aphrodisiac powers dating back to the earliest records of mankind. It's not only the foods themselves that affect the libido, but also the presentation.

Romance in the Kitchen

There are a number of cookbooks designed to promote romance in the kitchen. One of my particular favorites is The New InterCourses : An Aphrodisiac Cookbook by Martha Hopkins and Randall Lockridge. The incredibly sensuous, yet classy photographs by Ben Fink add a luscious touch to the food aphrodisiac information and recipes provided by the authors. (Read my full review for more details.)
