Top 10 Ways to Use Up Leftover Ham

Unless you have a very large family, chances are you will not use up an entire ham in one meal. Ham sandwiches are delicious, of course, but try branching out to not only use up that leftover ham, but also use it as a meal-stretcher with these recipes.

1. Green Eggs and Ham

9. Cauliflower Gratin

Three cheeses and ham give a rich depth of flavor to bland cauliflower. Cauliflower gratin makes a great side dish, but consider it also for breakfast or brunch. Great for low-carb diets.

10. Ham and Acorn Squash Skillet Dinner

This is a great way to use up leftover ham. Ham patties top buttered acorn squash all in one skillet. Kids love this dish. If acorn squash is not in season, try substituting sweet potatoes.
