Dill weed and toasted sesame seeds give added dimension to simple and easy broiled salmon. Although it will not have the rich flavor of salmon, you can try this method with white fish fillets.

Cook Time: 15 minutes

- 4 salmon steaks, about 1-inch thick
- 1 Tablespoon sesame seeds
- 1 teaspoon dried dillweed
- 3 Tablespoon margarine or butter
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
Preparation:
Set oven to broil and/or 550 degrees F. Grease broiler pan.
In a small skillet, cook and stir sesame seeds and dill weed in margarine over medium heat until sesame seeds are light brown, about 4 minutes. Stir in salt and pepper. Remove from heat.
Place salmon on broiler pan and brush with half of sesame seed mixture. Broil 5 to 6 inches from heat for 5 minutes. Turn and brush with remaining sesame seed mixture. Broil until fish flakes easily at center, about 5 minutes.
