Use canned Mandarin oranges for this quick and easy frozen delight. Do not over-process or you will end up with a slushie. (Hey, not a bad idea, either!)

Prep Time: 2 minutes

Cook Time: 2 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 can (15 ounces) Mandarin oranges
  • 2 Tablespoons lime juice

Preparation:

Freeze the canned Mandarin oranges for 18 hours or more.

When you are ready to make the sorbet, submerge the can in hot water for 1 to 2 minutes. Open the can and pour the syrup into the container in which you will puree the fruit.

Slice the frozen oranges into chunks. Add to the syrup. Add the lime juice and puree until smooth.

Yield: 6 servings
