Dessert Fondue Marnier Recipe

Dip fresh fruit or marshmallows into this orange marmalade and Grand Marnier creamy fondue. Great dessert for intimate parties. This is also good as a dessert cake topping or ice cream topping.

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Cook Time: 15 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 6 Tablespoons butter
  • 6 Tablespoons sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons flour
  • 2 cups thick dairy cream
  • 1 cup orange marmalade
  • 1 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 4 Tablespoons Grand Marnier
  • 2 cups fresh pineapple chunks
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Any other fresh fruit
  • 1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped

Preparation:

In 2-quart saucepan over medium low heat, melt butter. Stir in mixture of flour and sugar. Stir in thick cream and cook, stirring, for 5 minutes. Reduce heat to low and stir in marmalade, orange rind and Grand Marnier. Transfer to fondue pot and serve, keeping warm.

Spear fruit on fondue fork and dip into mixture. Sprinkle with chopped pecans.

This is also good as a dessert cake topping or ice cream topping.

Yield: 4 servings
