Potato Chip Cookies Recipe

Potato chips sound like an odd ingredient for cookies, but they work! Kids love these.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 12 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 16 Tablespoons butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1-1/2 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup crushed potato chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • Powdered sugar

Preparation:

Cream together butter and sugar. Gradually add flour and mix well. Add vanilla and potato chips and mix well. Fold in pecans. Drop onto ungreased cookie sheets and flatten with bottom of a drinking glass which has been dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 8 to 10 minutes.

Yield: 3 to 4 dozen cookies
