This is basically a lighter version of the Greek tzatziki sauce made with yogurt, cucumber, dill, and mint.
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup plain yogurt
- 1 cup diced (1/4-inch) cucumber
- 2 teaspoons chopped fresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried
- 2 teaspoons fresh mint or 1 teaspoon dried
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Preparation:
In a medium-size bowl, mix yogurt, cucumber, dill, mint, salt, and pepper. Taste for salt and pepper. Serve sauce at once.Serve with Turkish Lamb Burgers in Pita Bread.
Yield: about 2 cups
