Spicy Marmalade Soy Dip Recipe

Marmalade soy dipping sauce is slightly spicy and goes particularly well with all types of seafood, including shrimp, crab, lobster, and squid. Serve warm or at room temperature.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 10 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 Tablespoon cold water
  • 1/3 cup orange marmalade
  • 1 clove garlic, finely minced
  • 1/8 teaspoon grated ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce

Preparation:

Whisk together cornstarch and cold water. Set aside.

Place orange marmalade, garlic, ginger, pepper flakes, lime juice, and soy sauce in a small heavy saucepan. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Add cornstarch and simmer, stirring, until sauce is thickened. Remove from heat.

Serve this dipping sauce warm or at room temperature. Great with all types of seafood, including shrimp, crab, lobster, and squid.

Yield: About 3/4 cup
