Ranch Chicken Nuggets Recipe

The kids will enjoy these chicken nuggets as much as the adults. You may substitute chicken breasts for the thighs or use a combination of both.

Prep Time: 2 hours, 15 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Total Time: 2 hours, 35 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 skinless, boneless chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup prepared ranch dressing
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Additional ranch dressing for dipping

Preparation:

Cut chicken into bite-sized nuggets. Place in a zip-top bag and pour on the ranch dressing. Squeeze out the air, seal, and gently squish chicken around so it is evenly covered with the ranch dressing marinade. Refrigerate for two hours or overnight.

Preheat oven to 400 F. Line a shallow baking pan with non-stick foil.

Combine bread crumbs and Parmesan cheese. Remove chicken from the ranch dressing and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Roll in bread crumb and cheese mixture until coated. Place on prepared baking pan.

Bake 15 to 20 minutes until golden. Serve ranch chicken nuggets with additional ranch dressing for dipping.

Yield: about 4 servings

The BEST chicken nuggets ever!, Member melanieotte

First, I like this recipes because it's pretty much almost completely homemade, except for the ranch dressing...which you could do too! My picky two year old did not hesitate to finish his plate. My 5 year old whined when I brought them out, not wanting to try them. But, after he did, he said they were the best chicken nuggets he's ever had. He kept asking for more but they did not last long! My husband and I were so impressed with this recipe as well. I've forwarded it to friend and family. They are so much healthier and tastier than the frozen ones in the store. I strongly recommend this recipe and experimenting with different marinades and crackers to make new and interesting flavors.
