Roasted Spicy Apricot Wings Recipe

Spicy sweet chicken wings with apricot sauce can be on the party table in less than 45 minutes. These are amazingly simple to make and bake in the oven.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 30 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 15 chicken wings
  • 1/2 cup apricot preserves
  • 1 Tablespoon cider vinegar
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons hot sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoons chili powde
  • 1/2 clove garlic, minced

Preparation:

Cut each chicken wing at joints to make 3 pieces; discard tips. Combine apricot preserves, cider vinegar, hot sauce, chili powder, and garlic to make basting sauce.

When ready to serve, preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place in a single layer on a foil-lined baking sheet with sides. Bake 25 minutes. Then brush with sauce and cook 5 minutes.

Yield: 30 pieces

Per piece: 63 calories, 47 percent from fat, 3 grams total fat, 14 mg cholesterol, .93 g saturated fat, 5 g protein, 4 g carbohydrates, .02 g total fiber, 19 mg sodium.
