Rum Recipes - Cooking with Rum
If you arrived here via a search engine, don't miss my full article on Rum. These recipes all use either rum or rum extract. For small amounts of rum (a tablespoon or few) used as a flavoring, rum extract can often be successfully substituted. However, rum extract will not flame properly, so do not substitute in flambé. Be sure to advise your guests if you are cooking with any alcoholic ingredient as some may be allergic. As with any recipe, feel free to modify it to meet the needs and tastes of your own family.
