Peanut Butter Cup Pie Recipe

With a chocolate crust and a peanut butter custard filling, this pie tastes like the popular peanut butter cup candies.

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Cook Time: 20 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 Tablespoons (1/2 stick) softened butter
  • 1/2 to 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 8 ounces peanut butter morsels, melted
  • 1 chocolate cookie pie crust

Preparation:

Preheat oven to 425 degrees F.

In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and the sugar. Add the vanilla and the eggs and blend well.

Gradually add the flour and mix well, then blend in the melted peanut butter morsels.

Pour the pie filling into the chocolate crust. Bake pie at 425 degrees F. for 5 minutes. Reduce the oven temperature to 350 degrees F. and bake for an additional 20 minutes.

Cool pie before serving.

Yield: 8 servings
