Think about what to do with hard-boiled eggs, and the first thing that comes to mind is deviled eggs. Without question, deviled eggs are a universal favorite when it comes to appetizers. If you have old eggs to get rid of or leftover Easter eggs, consider breaking out of the box and trying something new. You should know that older eggs are best for hard cooking, since they will peel easier.

I was reading Peggy Trowbridge Fillppone’s “10 ways to use hard boiled eggs.
Another different taste is to smoke them. Hard boil, then peel, then throw on the smoker for about 20 min. Then eat as is, or use your favorite reciepe for deviled eggs. I have two children in the military. When they come home for a visit, their first request is for my smoked deviled eggs.
What a fabulous idea, Merle! Thanks for sharing.
