Apple Baked Beans Recipe Save time by using canned beans in this recipe. Most of the apples and onions melt right into the sauce. Once you try baked beans this way, you'll toss out your old recipe. This is guaranteed to become a family favorite. It is easily made ahead and reheated or serve them at room temperature. You may also double the recipe, but increase the baking time accordingly.

I CANNOT BELIEVE NO ONE HAS COMMENTED ON THIS RECIPE! I’ve been trying to cut back on sugar and tried this recipe – just because. WOWSER! Talk about good – this is great! I took it to a gathering of my friends and made a very large batch (so I could keep leftovers) and – what leftovers?? They were looking for more! This is the ONLY baked bean recipe I use now. If you haven’t tried it yet, YOU SHOULD!!
