
Many heirloom rosebushes produce fruit, known as rose hips, and these rose hips are edible. They are best harvested after the first frost. They may be dried much like sun-dried tomatoes or made into fruit leather. The traditional method is to dry in the sun, but you can easily use your oven or a dehydrator. Check out the easy recipe.
