What a great collection of recipes with raisins! I will certainly prepare some of those dishes.

One little trick I’ve learned about cooking or baking with raisins is to plumb them up before adding them to the dish.

I usually soak them in hot or boiling water for about 15 minutes under cover. They have better flavor that way.
